Stephen F. Austin High School is a public high school located in downtown Austin, Texas on the banks of the Colorado River. The Maroons play in District 26-6A in the State’s largest classification. Austin High offers 18 Varsity UIL sports programs and 5 club sports. Over 650 Austin High students compete in athletics on an annual basis with more than a dozen each year signing to continue playing in college. Maroons’ programs focus on player development, so each student athlete is ready to play on the court and for life. Austin High’s motto is ‘Mens Agitat Molem’ (Mind Over Matter) which is reflected in the achievements of Maroons athletes and the top-notch academics offered at the school.
